I am Kat, and I’m the artist behind Love, Kat & Jay’s Ambigram Jewelry. My journey in the realm of jewelry design is enriched by my education at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), where I earned the Applied Jewelry Professional credential from the London campus, and Diamonds & Diamond Grading from Carlsbad, US campus. I am currently taking the Diamond Grading Lab course under the GIA campus in Hongkong.
My passion for ambigrams started with doodles in a notebook, where the very first names I entwined were those of my parents, Nes and Edel. With a Fine Arts degree in Advertising from the University of Santo Tomas, my career spanned Advertising, Sales and Marketing, Events Planning, and Creatives. However, my love for typography eventually led me to start Love, Kat & Jay Jewelry in 2018. Since then, I’ve had the honor of turning your beautiful names and stories into unique ambigram pieces that I hope you’ll love to wear and treasure for life!
To end my day, I treat myself to activities like dancing, word and puzzle games, or wine nights with good music and company. These activities offer fresh perspectives, and a chance to recharge, keeping my creative energy alive.

Storytelling Jewelry Designer
My name is Jay, and I’m the Storytelling Jewelry Designer behind Love, Kat & Jay Jewelry. I come from a family of artists, and by having an artist Dad who creates export-quality hand-carved wooden crafts, I have been around extraordinary art pieces since childhood. I’m also passionate about photography, calligraphy, and typography. Interestingly, I initially pursued a science course in college, but the artist within me couldn’t be silenced. Instead, I graduated with a double degree in Management Information Systems and Information Design (Fine Arts) from Ateneo de Manila University. My design studies led me into the Advertising industry, where I worked on digital art, motion graphics, and photography.
As both an entrepreneur and an artist, I co-founded Love, Kat & Jay Jewelry, where I now have the privilege of transforming real-life stories into timeless jewelry pieces that celebrate your journey.
I practice balancing my workday with moments of creative rest. Whether it’s exploring new environments with my camera, taking my motorbike for a run, or sticking to my morning fitness routine, these activities help me recharge and maintain the inspiration needed to visually translate different stories.
Monogram Designer
Ariel
I’m Ariel, and I bring artistry to jewelry pieces by crafting personalized monogram designs through the creative interplay of letters, numbers, and shapes. With a BA in Advertising Arts and a background in corporate identity and brand logo design, I draw on these skills to enhance each piece. When I’m not sketching, you’ll find me making music or escaping to nature with my watercolor brush and dogs.

Abby
Hi! I’m Abby, and I bring your portraits to life by incorporating them as personal details into jewelry pieces through line art. My love for line drawings once inspired me to gift each of my wedding guests a hand-drawn line portrait, adding a personal touch to my special day. When I’m not creating, I enjoy experimenting with new recipes and styling it, movie nights, and taking road trips.
